Story of  Hazrat Nuh ﷷﷵ

After the death of Hazrat Idris of, the Muslims were trapped. Since none of them was chosen as a prophet, the people began to turn to the pious Companions of Idris for guidance. They respect and follow these good people and consult them whenever they face any problem. Eventually, as time went on, even the pious died that there was no guide to guide them. They were afraid and feared that they would deviate from the path of Allah.

Satan, who saw with cunning eyes, approached the lamenting men and women, disguised himself as a man and whispered in his ear: "If we make a statue of these good people, it will be more pleasing in our worship and we will remember." Of them. " They agreed that they did not feel any harm in erecting statues of their pious people, which would surely encourage them to remember Allah and do good deeds.

Satan had successfully planted his corrupt seed. He had patience because he knew that worshiping someone else was a slow process. When that generation had passed and a new generation of people had forgotten their intention behind erecting statues, Satan whispered in the men's ears: “Your ancestors used to worship these idols. They brought good from these statues. Thus idolatry took root in human hearts.

Centuries passed, and Allah decided to send a prophet to guide the polytheists to the truth. This prophet. Was chosen for this sacred work. Allah Almighty blessed His faithful disciple with eloquent speech and immense patience so that he could fulfill his duty successfully. So Nuh ﷷﷵ began to preach to his people about the mysteries of the vast universe. He informed them about night and day, the stars, the moon, the plants and animals, and the heavens and the earth. He explained to them that man was created by God to glorify and worship Him. Then Nuh ﷷﷵ told them about the oneness of God, that the mysteries of the world are proof of the existence of only one true God and that it is none other than God. He explained to them that Satan had led them astray in the worship of idols and that they would be warned of a severe punishment from Allah if they continued to worship idols.

The people of Nuh ﷷﷵ listened to him with great confusion and patience. The people of Nuh ﷷﷵ, deeply saddened and disappointed, began to look for hope and peace in the words of the Prophet, and gradually entered the fold of Islam, while the rich man watched with anger. He said to Nuh ﷷﷵ: "We see you but a man like you." Nuh ﷷﷵ explained to them that they did. There is a human being and Allah has specially chosen a human messenger because the earth is basically under the control of human beings. And if the angels had taken possession of the earth, Allah would certainly have sent an angel to convey His message.

One day, the rich lord of the city came to Nuh ﷷﷵ and said to him: "Listen Nuh ﷷﷵ, if you want us to believe in you, then dismiss your believers. They are helpless and poor, while we are the elite and We are rich. No one can be included in any faith. Nuh ﷷﷵ was well aware of the ignorance of the rich. He knew that he had to remain calm in order to convince them that materialism is useless in the sight of God. This is what is in his heart that is more important than Him. Nuh ﷷﷵ answered them: "O my people! I do not ask for any wealth for it, my reward is from none but Allah. Surely they are going to meet their Lord, but I see that you are ignorant people, O my people! Who will help me against Allah, if I remove them? Don't you think And I do not say to you that I have the treasures of Allah, nor do I know the unseen, nor do I say that I am an angel, nor do I say about those upon whom your eyes look. Allah will not grant. There is no good in them. God knows what is in them. In that case, I should really join the oppressors.

The polytheists were angry. They had endured Nuh ﷷﷵ's constant preaching and arguments for a very long time. They angrily challenged Nuh ﷷﷵ: "O Nuh ﷷﷵ! You have been quarreling with us and quarreling with us. Now bring us before us if we are truthful." Nuh ﷷﷵ replied: "If Allah wills, then only you But the torment will come, and then you will not escape. And my advice will not benefit you, even if I want to give you advice, if Allah wills to lead you astray. He is your Lord! And to Him you will be returned.

The disbelievers, who had lost all patience with Nuh ﷷﷵ, tried to intimidate the Prophet by intimidating him into preaching Islam. He said: "Surely we see you in manifest error." Nuh ﷷﷵ replied patiently: "O my people! There is no fault in me, but I am the Messenger of the Lord of the worlds! I give to you the messages of my Lord and give you an advice. And I am from Allah." I know what you don't know.

Despite constant satire and humor, Nuh ﷷﷵ continued to call his people to Islam for nine hundred and fifty years. But every generation that came into existence rejected Nuh ﷷﷵ like their ancestors. Every child who reached the age of understanding was clearly warned against the teachings of Nuh ﷷﷵ. Whenever the Prophet came to them, they would run away from him. They found every excuse to escape Nuh ﷷﷵ's presence. Long ago, Nuh ﷷﷵ realized that the number of unbelievers was increasing rapidly, although the number of believers had not changed. He was very worried about his people and a fear of terrible suffering for them, but he had no choice.

So Nuh ﷷﷵ prayed to Allah: "O my Lord! They disobeyed me, and followed him whose wealth and children did them no harm, but only harm. They devised a mighty conspiracy. He said: "Forsake your gods, nor will you forsake Waad, Suwa, Yaghut, Yaq and Nasir (names of idols). Indeed, they have led many people astray. O Allah! Don't add

Allah soon revealed to Nuh ﷷﷵ that no other of his people would convert to Islam after him. Saddened and disappointed, Nuh ﷷﷵ replied to Allah: "O my Lord! Leave not one of the disbelievers on earth. If you let them go, they will lead your slaves astray and they will be among the disbelievers." No one else will find it. Nuh ﷷﷵ's supplication was accepted by his Lord. He instructed Nuh ﷷﷵ: "And build the ark under our eyes and with your inspiration and do not speak to me from the unjust."

Outside the city limits, away from the sea, Nuh ﷷﷵ began to build the ark day and night with the help and guidance of angels. The construction of the ark continued amidst constant jokes from the people. He mocked Nuh ﷷﷵ at: "O Nuh ﷷﷵ! Does the carpenter appeal more than your prophecy? Why are you building a Boat so far from the sea? Are you going to pull it towards the water or the wind?" Nuh ﷷﷵ replied: "You will know who will be ashamed and afflicted."

Then Allah instructed Nuh ﷷﷵ that when the furnace started pouring water in his house, gather the believers and embark on the ark, for this is the first sign of the beginning of the flood which will destroy the disbelievers. Shortly after, water began to come out of the oven on the house of Prophet Nuh ﷷﷵ aw, a terrible day dawned. Nuh ﷷﷵ knew it was time to get into the ark. Along with the believers, Nuh ﷷﷵ also took with him pairs of animals, birds, and insects. People who witnessed Nuh ﷷﷵ's strange behavior laughed at him again: "Nuh ﷷﷵ must have gone out of his head! What is he doing with the animals?"

Immediately. Soon, heavy rains began to fall from the furious skies and water began to flow from every crack on the ground. The water level slowly rose and the seas conquered the land. The once dry land was now completely submerged for the first time.

Nuh ﷷﷵ's people faced a terrible calamity. He knew that the hand of the disbelievers was not spared from the wrath of Allah. Among the unbelievers were Nuh ﷷﷵ's wife and son who refused to climb the ark. Nuh ﷷﷵ cried out to his son: "Come with us, my son, and do not join the unbelievers." Nuh ﷷﷵ's ignorant son replied, "I will go up the mountain." It will save me from the water. Nuh ﷷﷵ replied: "There is no protector today from God's command except He on whom He has mercy." Soon, Nuh ﷷﷵ's son was caught in a wave of anger and will never be seen again.

When each disbeliever perished, Allah commanded the heavens and the earth: "O earth, swallow your water, and O heaven, stop your rain. The sky was immediately cleared and the sun shone on the earth." The ark landed peacefully on the mountain Jeddah. Allah instructed His Prophet: “O Nuh ﷷﷵ! Come down safely from us (from the ark) and peace be upon you and upon those who are with you.

According to the instructions, Nuh ﷷﷵ descended from the ark with the believers, releasing the saved animals, birds and insects into the green land. Nuh ﷷﷵ placed his forehead on the ground, prostrated to his Lord and thanked Him for His mercy and blessings. The believers were thankful to Allah for protecting them from the terrible torment and they observe a day of fasting as a token of gratitude to Allah.
